Setup Guide

Get started with LingoChan

Follow these steps to set up real-time translation for your Slack workspace.

1. Install LingoChan

  1. 1Click the 'Add to Slack' button on our homepage.
  2. 2Authorize LingoChan to access your Slack workspace.
  3. 3You'll be redirected back to Slack once installation is complete.

2. Configure Your Preferences

  1. 1Invite LingoChan to your Slack workspace and open it in the sidebar.
  2. 2Type /lingo to start the app.
  3. 3Your subscription status and usage information will appear as shown below.

3. Start Communicating

  1. 1Send messages in any language — LingoChan handles the rest.
  2. 2Each team member sees messages translated into their own language.
  3. 3Thread replies and DMs are supported too.

Basic
